Steve Mangan has been practicing law for nearly 40 years. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Economics and his Law degree, he began his law career working with his father, the late Atty. Jack Mangan. In 1987, he joined Ericson, Scalise & Woodfield, which later became Ericson, Scalise & Mangan.
Ericson, Scalise & Mangan was voted Best Law Office in 2022 and Best Eldercare Attorneys in 2021 in the poll.
The practice areas that Steve handles include estate planning and administration, real estate, personal injury, worker’s compensation, defense of criminal and motor vehicle cases, and divorce. His clients turn to him for advice knowing his history of experience in many cases that require expert referrals, complex planning, and a global knowledge of the law. If he cannot resolve a case through negotiation or mediation, Steve is more than willing to seek a resolution in the courtroom.
Active in his community as a volunteer with many organizations, Steve has been involved in numerous civic activities throughout the years. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Greater New Britain Bar Association and Secretary/Treasurer of The Round Table, and on the Board of the New Britain Industrial Museum.
